ListenAheadIQ is being developed for Android and uses Android's Storage Access Framework, Media3 playback, and optional Health Connect integration.
Make sure the selected top-level folder contains supported audio files, usually inside one folder per audiobook. If files were moved after selecting the folder, choose the library folder again.
The current library design reads files from the folder you select instead of duplicating your audiobook collection into a separate ListenAheadIQ catalog.
Yes. No-Timer Bedtime Listening is designed to keep playback running while recording a higher-frequency bedtime playback timeline. You can end the bedtime session when you wake up.
Ending the session gives ListenAheadIQ a completed bedtime session to work with. You can then synchronize compatible sleep data and compare the detected sleep timing with your playback timeline.
On compatible setups, Garmin Connect can make sleep information available through Android Health Connect. ListenAheadIQ reads the sleep records only after you grant Health Connect sleep permission.
No. A separate Samsung Health hop is not required when Garmin Connect is already providing the relevant sleep information through Health Connect.
ListenAheadIQ can apply a safety rewind before the estimated sleep point. This is intentional so you hear a little familiar context before reaching material you may have missed.
Yes. Health Connect permissions can be managed through Android. The audiobook player can still be used without granting Health Connect access.
